Product Description
The Current Sensors are solid state transducers for measuring the current in fans, pumps and other HVAC equipment. Select one of three ranges by moving the jumper on the device to switch between 10A, 20A and 50A. This sensor outputs 0-5V directly and requires no power supply. The signal is proprtional to the average current and will vary slightly from the results shown on an RMS measuring ammeter, depending on the load.
The clamping / split core current transformer allows installation without interrupting the high voltage wiring. Add a second wrap of the high voltage cable to double the output signal for a given current.
